These lenses are available in LPL mount.
Designed and manufactured in Germany, the ELSIE lenses combine the characteristic warmth and sharpness of Leitz lenses with a subtle contrast, resolution and light fall-off from the center to the edges of the lens.
As a result, the central part stands out and boasts a characteristic of attracting the line of sight to the center of the frame.
The new bokeh design works well with Leica Cameras to create an artistic bokeh, while preserving the shape of the out-of-focus subject, akin to the characteristics of the Leica M lens.
The 29mm, 50mm, 65mm and 125mm lenses will be available for rental from January/February 2023, with the 150mm also becoming available sometime later in 2023.
